The Build

Eleven months, from seawall to home.

We began with a bare lot and ninety feet of seawall on the bay. What you just watched is the real sequence: foundation, frame, glass, finish.

Materials

Stone, oak, glass, and a long low fire.

Honed travertine kitchen island with the bay beyond
01
Travertine

A single honed-travertine block anchors the kitchen, the bay filling the glass beside it.

02
Smoked Oak

It wraps the headboard wall and runs underfoot, warm against the linen and the morning light.

Floor-to-ceiling glass in the great room over the bay
03
Low-iron Glass

Floor to ceiling, no green tint. The west wall turns into open water, then disappears at dusk.

The Hearth

A long, low gas fire set into book-matched travertine — the room's warm center as the sun drops.

The Setting

On the water, in South Tampa.

Protected frontage, a private dock, and open bay to the west. Ten minutes to downtown, a world away at dusk.

Private Showings

Walk the home before it’s listed.
